Now the process begins of writing and developing the feature-length script to the film.

Synopsis:

This is the face of the future. The next generation of mobile phone devices – neural devices which interface directly with the brain - have become commonplace. Offering unprecedented interconnectivity between the people, the device is the biggest networking fashion of the 21st century. And it also includes a memory upgrade for the human mind.

As dawn rises on a new day, a man stirs in his sleep. His neural implant begins its reboot sequence, but something goes wrong. The device suffers malfunction. Harvey Black opens his eyes to a new world. He is the latest of a chosen few who have been targeted and 'liberated' from the new technology.

He has been freed by an unknown group of 'free-thinkers', purists, anarchists and conspirators, who believe that the device suppresses free thought and mimics human behaviour – crossing the fine line between man and machine. But following the failure of Harvey's memory module, he cannot remember anything from the past two years of his life since the device was installed.

If his neural implant is repaired - will he have his memory and his life restored? Or will he lose his humanity and be plunged back into darkness once again? And will he decide to lead the 'free-thinkers', and follow his heart, in a terrifying plan to bring the neural network crashing down.
